Statcast Relic Wave 1 vs Wave 2

Aside from the obvious good ones like prowler, karnak, magneto, destroyer, heimdall, domino; what are some of the other better ones?

Trying to decide which to open. Thinking the fact we have a selector for wave 2 means opening wave 2 over wave 1 regular crystals. But ive heard wave 1 is better

I personally find wave two better, but that is just my opinion. Since wave two was released, I've opened only the second one.

that’s a great thread to utilize, sorry for that. I have many relic + stat cast shards. I was not interested in them and still not really but when I wanted to open them: shall i go ahead or wait for something?

I saw it, good addition. Do you know when wave 3 will replace wave 2? And will we know any teases on what they do before they go live? I'm curious if theres any new attributes like "block penetration" coming.

Most relics are subjective. If any class that needs block prof relic it is tech. Heimdall one is helpful for cull and karolina and even dthanos (since you usually block with him and not parry),and I personally chose 7* heimdall relic from selector for cull so now I can have crit focus on him. But usually I must say offensive relics are better.

Not every class block prof relic is better. In fact, punished vs thing, thing actually better cuz most muties deal energy damage. Similarly moondragon vs kushala vs red skull, moondragon > redskull > kush imo. That's why I say not every class relic is equal even if they improve same attributes.

No, I don't think they've announced anything about Wave 3. I wanted to make that list so I could decide which crystal to open based on which statcasts were better out of the ones I don't own yet. My judgment for me was that is Wave 1. After all the ones they gave out, my overall collection has about equal amounts from both waves in it.

Valuing the relics will also become really important when judging which ones to rank up. Ranking all of these up will take a ton of resources. Just to rank up the 120 5-stars they've released so far just to Rank 2 would cost 60 million gold. Taking 120 6-stars to Rank 2 would cost 90 million gold. Of course, it could take a while to do that many based on the availability of rank-up materials as well, which are not available in unlimited quantities.

Good point, imiw is probably better on defense than red skull.

Tigra relies on blocking so destroyer huge for her imo

@JediJones77 i remember seeing somewhere that the separate statcast go into the base pool after every month and a new pool joins after. Im hoping that's not true cause that would be way too many of them given there's multiple for each

Yes destroyer would be great for tigra, especially if it has criticised rating secondary stat.

I fail to see any value on crit resist relics. Maybe imiw better on zola, but will the 6-8% crit resistance increase is going to have any significant changes? I feel like crit resist stat is the biggest scam, it shouldn't be the primary stat for any relic.

It sucks. Zola likes to hit into block (you bait heavies) and block pen doesnt exist, so physical penetration maybe? (Starky relic)

Also someone mentioned Hulkling didnt make much difference for KD, so he might also be kinda mid.

That makes it mainly just prowler, destroyer, magneto, and Bullseye that's good from Wave 1

Starky relics is not that useful either. they suck at making relics. Energy penet relic on tech makes more sense. and red skull has energy resistance, while we dont have any armor rating relic for tech whicha ctually tech needs.But mystic has armor relic. Pretty sure statcasts are made by some intern.

Hulkling relic is great for serpent, probably the best makes him hell of a defender with block penet.

Overall I think prowler and karnak are the best relics since the crit damage increease is the best stat to have. Prowler relic makes my starky and jack a monster.

Yeah, like I said in my post about wave 1 and 2, it looks like they're heading towards over 300 statcast relics PER rarity. Seems like a big burden on the server for a company who's tried to get us to stop holding old crystals in our inventory. There had to be a more workable way of implementing these statcast relics.

My big recommendation would've been to make the secondary option on the relics a "rune" like on the battlecast relics. That means you select it yourself. So, that would instantly cut down the amount of relics by a factor of 5…we'd only have 24 per rarity to deal with now, not 120. And then maybe 60 or so total by the time the roll-out is complete. Which would mean about 180 new relics across the 5-6-7-star rarities. That's ALL we needed. We don't need so many relics that we'll even have to outfit our 5-star collection with them before we're done.
