Has Kabam ever considered limiting classes in BG?
Has Kabam ever considered changing up BG to limit classes?
I was grinding BG to get the monthly milestone but I couldnt help but notice I'm only ever going against the same 10ish defenders every match. Its just boring to play into and I feel itd be interesting to at least shake up the meta in more ways than one.
Has Kabam ever considered bringing an aspect to BG where for a period of time some specific classes were banned? I feel this could do a few things to help freshen up BG, like change up some of who you see and how youd approach certain fights. Bans would become somewhat more impactful and peoples decks would change more dynamically.
For example: Say they temp banned all Mystics and Cosmics for a week under the current ruleset with Skill purify.
People are mostly drafting mutants, techs, and skill anyways for this meta. But at this point now people wouldnt have nico, dark phoenix, serpent, etc, and people who fight into the tech class would have to use more critical thinking to counter them since cosmic isnt available.
Im sure theres some flaw to my thought process. But I feel theres potential to make BG somewhat more fresh than what it is. At least to alleviate some of the fatigue there is with so many strong defenders.
Tldr; has Kabam ever considered banning classes for a season to shake up the meta? If not, why?
