Do my Kabam and Twitch accounts need the same email to claim Twitch Drop rewards?

Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask if my Kabam account must have the same email address as my Twitch account in order to successfully link them and receive the Twitch Drop rewards from the Kabam livestream.

I already linked my accounts, but I’m not sure if the emails have to match for the rewards to be credited properly. Can anyone or a Kabam staff member confirm this?

I hope that’s not true, because my Twitch account uses a different email than my Kabam account.

I tried to do that, but when I create a new Twitch account with my Kabam email, it says the email is already linked to another account. It seems Twitch hasn’t released it yet, even though I deleted the old one. D:
