Curious, which champion designer is redoing Magik because…

We already know one designer hates mystic dispersion. If she’s gonna cost us ungodly amounts of radiance AND not fully utilize our mastery setup, some tables might get flipped lol. It already sucks she’s not being released as is as a 6* and 7* but we’ve talked about that enough times. Unnecessarily getting the Quake treatment. Who knows, maybe we’ll get a Deathless Magik in the future with her original kit lol

counterpoint; having MD traded off for something useful can be a useful design trick? MooGod can actually gain too much power awakened and high sig, in the right match up; seems after him, they started exploring that design space. KushyBear really isn’t missing it with her power gain on buff activation.

Drac doesn’t count, he’s a missed opportunity so far… o/

Imagine fighting a 7* Magik with unavoidable Limbo damage. I love Magik and used her a lot during her prime but I understand why she’s not released as a 6*, let alone a 7*. Not as game breaking as Quake but Power lock and drain on SP2 chain will still make a lot of fights trivial.

Let us not let nostalgia fool us. I’m excited for the revamp.

the same way you could work around her limbo then, you could do now. Easy to stop her from trivializing certain content by adding a node.
