Champ Modifications
TLDR: Now that the rebalance program has been shelved, will Kabam take the leap and make the necessary changes that are preventing some champs from being released as 7 stars?
I was curious to get everyone's thoughts on this. With the rebalance program ending (in it's current form), any chance the game team will look at tweaking champs that were released before the program started?
The reason I bring it up is because when I seen Herc displayed on Live Stream slides, it irks me. Not sure if it bothers anyone else to see a champ, a Summoner's Choice champ at that, who is rarity locked and slipping further into the realm of the forgotten because he has a broken mechanic. Herc's immortality can remain but for a fixed time instead of prolonged by hitting the opponent. Keeping him as is isn't an option.
I've always been in the camp that prefers that changes should be made, even if it means backlash from the community. By making a change, letting us know why the change was made (for real), and letting us process is way better than giving us lip service. 12.0 was jarring, definitely a nexus point for the game. It was the right decision, albeit wildly unpopular.
With the amount invested in designing a champ and, for us, pulling/ranking up/playing them, we should never get to a point that a champ is rarity locked. It's a disservice to us, the designers/art team, and to Marvel in general.
