Battlegrounds Matchmaking Seriously Needs Work

Regardless of what rank we are, when matchmaking for us within a rank, we should be matched with someone with a similar level of deck.

The matchmaking too often matches me with people that have way stronger decks than me. I currently have 3 R4 7*s, and then the rest of my deck are maybe half R3 7*s and the rest R2 7*s and a few 6* R5 ascended. I get matched all the time with people that have on average 6 to 10 or so R4 7*s and the rest R3s.

I can never achieve these two Special objectives for Battlegrounds: getting in Gladiator's Circuit to 100 and 200 points. I've spent hours going up to maybe 50–60 points but than getting way outmatched. It's incredibly frustrating and it feels like a huge waste of time.

Also, these Special objectives probably shouldn't be set at a points threshold, but better something like a number of GC wins cumulative. Then it's the time spent we're rewarded for. I need that Radiance to rank up champs to do better in BGs. As it is it feels like only the money spenders, those that can play many hours a day, and/or endgame players can achieve these types of goals. There needs to be ways for lighter spenders and free-to-play players to earn the same rewards.

Lol no, its a competition you don't get to complete objectives by beating your equals.

Those are competitive PvP rewards.

They are actively working on a "quick play" mode for other limited time solo events though.

A lot of F2P players have 10-15 7* R4s by now,
If you think you have hit your ceiling, trying doing some content instead. They aren’t as hard if you plan ahead. Plus the reward is better than 10k radiance. BG is not the only way to increase your roster.

Ill never get tired of people thinking this is what's considered fair matchmaking. They did this and all it meant is thay lower level accounts rocketed up to gc and higher level players were stuck in victory track

As far as increasing our rosters and rank-up materials, you're right, clearing some content will earn us some rewards also. And that will help some with the current BGs system. But as we clear content, so are the spenders and heavy players, and their rosters and rank-ups will also grow.

So my point still stands that matchmaking should be smarter and try to match us against people with somewhat similar rosters within a tier. There are many factors they can programmatically check for to do this. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they do something like this for AW? As in, your alliance isn't just matched with another alliance in the same tier, but also with similar attributes like prestige and rosters?
