When did they change the EQ rules?

For as long as I can remember, if you were IN a quest when the timer expired, it gave you 24 hours to finish. I was 4 fights away from finishing the last chapter in Elder, and it booted me...did they announce the change anywhere?

no, but was same for me lol. I mistimed it a bit, have 8 fights left..meant to do a run yesterday but didn’t get round to it,

and it just closed the screen down and showed me the new eq..

Used to be able to continue …I don’t quite get why they removed it…
