EQ 2.1 Elder difficulty bugged champion selector

2.1 is supposed to be the skill node, but once you get past the first fight (unstoppable colossus) you can only select mutant champions.

this has been fixed in game, but kabam support has been less than courteous regarding the ticket I submitted regarding the wasted boosts and energy.

How do you break an amazingly successful game this spectacularly?
