How're we feeling?
I was getting the double track regardless of who got added cos of units for banquet but what do yall think.

I think if you play AW or BG competitively then going for him seems to be a no-brainer.

He counters Serpent, Dark Phoenix and others based on the recent CCP videos so he's going to be popular.

My only concern is that he seems a bit too effective at what he does, particularly the burst damage, but given who designed him it's not a surprise if he literally ends up as a game-changer.

I think he’ll be very meta relevant, countering all four of the biggest cosmics especially, but will he be better than Nico?

I'm curious as to that as well. Can't seem to pull Nico, so thinking he might go up. Unless, there's a glaring difference between the two

I think Nico is still slightly better as she's a dual threat, in addition to taking on the big 4 cosmics.

Nico is alot better as she controls all buffs even outside the cosmic class whilst she lacks damage, that is what separates the 2 outside battlegrounds.

Whilst pavitr is targeted to beat the other 3 (I don't think he's good for maestro), i can't see where id use his buff control utility outside those matchups because his is very limited and specific. I'd rather use kushala even or a mystic with guaranteed buff control for buff related nodes. He seems good for Bgs tho.

Would definitely be a worthy rankup plus he seems fun to play with nice animations. However I just hope I can get a mystic gem before I get him or else I won't bother.

Eh, I bought the pass just for the extra units before Banquet.

Seems a tad convoluted to be viable for BG's. Web here, web there, throw a special two, then special one to put the mark on opponents. Every ability also seems to activate at varying percentages of RNG probability, possibly making him unreliable.

And he's a DLL champ. Along with the much of the community, I am becoming more and more disinterested with his mastery tampering, favoritism, and poor public persona.

I hate these kind of characters.

Spiderman prab is very niche, neutralise during specials, increased chance for true buffs, marked passive increasing with health, duration reduction of unstoppable and exorable effects, nullify fury buffs, Basically a mix of abilities that counter serpent and DP alone, just like spiral, but unlike spiral he has some great damage for vanilla matchups, still not a generalist against cosmic class.

They could have used his traps in diff way, instead of stealing power, something like step on trap, get nullified. Regardless, by the way they have thrown random abilities on his kit we can clearly say how bs of a defender serpent and DP is.

obviously power level wise, he is going to be staple in decks.

I think unlike Spiral, he’s meant to be a generalist instead, being able to take more meta matchups

At first he seems super complicated (which he kinda is) but in practice he is actually really simple, imo.

Use SP1 to knock the opponent into webs till you get enough buffs. Then cash out with SP2 intercept. He has a lot of bells and whistles but functionally he is just another SP1>SP2 ramp champ, like guardian peni sunspot etc etc.
