EQ Elder Difficulty bug

I was using Hawkeye to fight Gladiator & his mechanics weren’t working. I consistently got an early release, despite releasing at a perfect time. Now I was fighting Sorcerer Supreme with Shang Chi & she still evaded me despite having slow applied. Am I doing something wrong here? I took a screen recording but I can’t post it here
