Break The Ice - 1 Node not working properly?

Is it just me or has anyone else experienced problems with this node. I intercept and the frostbites are never transferred to my opponent. I tend to just skip this node overall but I ran into it in the Summoned Symbiotes Adventure Time incursions once more and decided to test it again. Of course intercepting my opponents dash doesn’t work or register once again and I died to the burst damage. I do back draft light intercepts. Medium attack intercepts (intercepting their dash with my dash). Special intercepts. Nothing works.

And the frostbites are definitely unpaused when you go for the intercept?

Maybe that’s what I’m missing 🤔 I’ll test that again when I come across it. I’m sure i’ve blocked and unpaused them but I can be wrong. Nonetheless thank you for that observation. I’ll update when I can
