so worst case this can apply towards a future event like July 4, or like the Spring Cleaning deals where it was a selector we could pick which had the Banquet Champs of last year
Given all the people quitting and the downsides the game has had, the Cyber Deals could potentially make it or break it for some, and the rerelease of Torch could allow Kabam to redeem some of that repor. After all, he's not a trophy champ like Dark Phoenix, WPX, Jessica Jones etc.
The decreased unit cost of the cyber champs (yondu, skrull) is a huge W
@KabamOsaurusRex but to tell you the truth, i dont think anyones particularly excited for these 2 champs, and this is not to bash them.
They are good champs its just that we are in an era where the top 30 champs in a deck are no matter what going to be filled with
1) defenders that need an extremely niche counter
2) niche counters to these defenders
And some defenders counters are practically nonexistent like Captain Britain (especially at high sig).
So when Torch was sold in July 4, and people who skipped him in hopes of hoarding their units for Cyber or Banquet (since he costed 40k units after all), now see champs like Yondu , Skrull, you can imagine the FOMO and regret they'd have.
