Sincere question about monthly quest

Do you find CLASSIC difficulty much harder than before? Or the problem is just Elder difficulty?

Because every day there are people complaining about "the monthly quest changes", but all of the complains are about Elder difficulty, as if it was mandatory to complete it

You can fully explore Classic difficulty and get most of the rewards - just like it was before the change

A lot were about Classic. It was a huge jump at 1st, then game was down, then they said it would be significantly easier later. It was not significant. Then they said they heard us, and it would be even easier next month. Barely. I made it through the 1st path with no revives, but it was such a slog I was done. Got bumped to Paragon and now it’s even worse. I could try it, but I’m a casual. I play for fun. I liked the story and chill fights, sometimes with new champs to see if I wanted to use them and rank them up. Or as part of a character specific event. Apparently I’m not the only one. There was talk of a casual mode, but nothing yet.

Everyone saying use certain champs, even if we don’t have them or haven’t ranked them up if we do, get good, use resources we’d usually use elsewhere, talking about rewards, or anything else like that are missing the point. Change is fine, but considering all the issues lately and lame and/or overtuned side stuff, it’s getting frustrating. I can’t speak for everyone else that doesn’t like it, but I don’t want to quit, I just feel like they’re not giving me much reason to stay anymore. ☹️

It’s the removal of any casual gameplay options I think people are most upset about. I guess there’s arena for that, but with so many clowny defenders in the game even that mode’s being ruined for low effort play. It’s like you have to totally lock in to play MCOC now, which isn’t how many of us veterans like to play the game anymore.

I think Classic is less difficult than before but it’s easier if you have at least 5 characters six or seven star) of the six classes at high level. Elder is harder and you need 15 characters of the six classes. I did the classic at 100 %. I had fun and tested my champs and upgraded some of them in order to complete it. The rewards from classic are great.
