Summoners Fest Day 1 Stream Recap
I didn't see one posted and I'm probably not as good as the others who recap, but hopefully I can give a baseline summary to those wanting to know what happened. Please note there will be spoilers on upcoming champs, so if you like to be surprised in the moment, tread carefully!
- Alliance & Solo Coliseum coming in December and January respectively - you will work to put 5 champs on a podium and work to clear multiple health bars from the defender. As you remove health bars, the defender's attack & health increase. You get points for how many health bars you clear.
- Fortress Assault - Coming later, not much detail was given on this. All your champions seem to matter for this mode though and you'll build a defense and attack and defend your fortress from other Summoners.
- Deathless Chase 2.0 AKA Stellar-Forged Champions - Starting this upcoming week the chase will start with the first Stellar-Forged Champion Starlord! Stellar-Forged champions will have fractured bars, will be class shifted (Starlord will be skill instead of tech) and will have new kits. This chase will culminate with a 7* Stellar-Forged Doctor Doom (cosmic class)!
- Collectives are a new feature that groups champions together based on specific attributes. The initial iteration will be class collectives. You'll have captains (highest rarity for specific champions) and adding ranks, levels, and signature stones into them will give you collective points. Those points help you level up and give you bonuses such as health and attack power.
- 8* are NOT on the roadmap currently. Instead 7* ascension is being implemented. There will be 11 initial ranks of ascension which do different things such as increasing attack and health, challenger rating, and unlocking new mechanics, such as Might. There will be a new Might bar that fills up over the course of a battle and when it is filled up, it automatically unlocks ISO-Burst which has you dealing more damage. Materials to gain ascension require champion specific ascension tokens as well as class ascension tokens. Starting with Lizard and Pavitr, these champions will have ascension materials sent out when it goes live (targeting Spring 2026).
- New Champions. New Banquet trophy champion for 2025 will be a complete Punisher rework. New kit & model. January Champions will be J. Jonah Jameson (Spider Slayer) and a Doctor Strange rework (think OG Iron Man and Cyclops)! Blue Marvel will be coming in February and Pixie will be joining in March.
They did share a lot of information so I apologize if I missed anything. It does seem like there's a lot of stuff to be excited about!
