Amazing Stream
Andrewtheruff great summoner too
But Liam was consistent the whole Tournament
And with 10k Titan Crystal
I decided to open now
Pulled the Maker π
Now, the other one will be for December
Thanks Kabam π₯³
It's really amazing how much better BGs is when you aren't whale locked.
That's the real battlegrounds
What we are playing is called Whalegrounds
I don't understand your point. The two finalists are top BG players even in whalesgrounds as you call it.
It's 2 entirely different mode
They have access to all champions as 7* including Rhino, CGR, Kate Bishop
Wow we have the big 3 here, Peixe, Jesuschrist, and Totem. Might be the worst thread of all time. Hopefully a new one is started to congratulate Liam because he did absolutely fantastic.
Yeah I get that. I'm just saying the finalists are top BG players regardless of format. It's not like Cheesemaster or some other Uru player would become a top player if the decks were the same.
Pretty sure everyone reading and posting in this thread is a loser lol.
No no GW isn't here yet
Liam was super consistent. Congrats!! It was a fun event to watch.
And who is you again?
Another Troll Hater of Kabam?
Why is you even here on Forums?
Threads can be openned by anyone.
And what I saw, only me was really thrilled to watch this absolutelly awesome Summoners Fest stream.
You, the jailed girl and others only for the rewards.
Shame on Troll haters, you missed the best entertaining moment of our beloved game, Marvel Contest of Champions.
whalegrounds was the qualifying rounds to get to battlegrounds. Thatβs why the finalists are players at the top in BGβs. But you are probably right that even if decks are same, most people in uru will find it difficult to even qualify.
Ok i see some fights like onslaught vs havok human torch vs havok mephisto vs iceman etc
I don't know if it was kind of stress or whatever, but some fights was like wtf they know something i don't know?
Congrats to Liam π₯³π€
The refreshing thing wasn't that they had an even ranked deck. It was that it wasn't dominated by the same 4/5 op defenders that need specific counters that normal bgs is over and over again. It showed how much more fun bgs could be if there were less **** mechanic defenders.
I liked how they all agreed not including whalephoniex in their decks. It was mutually agreed theme.
This fair champ was on eveyeone's instaban list. They all thought, nope f that.
Marvel Contest of Whales
Andrw played well but there can only be one winner. Congrats Liam on winning. . That AA against Havok was a scary but great choice. That last match was a nail bitter. I thought RedSkull would stomp Havok but mix master makes it a little bit tricky.
I donβt know how anyone could come to that conclusion. Yes, there were a few defenders struck in advance, but they also picked a meta that would make 99% of BG players scream bloody murder.
As to the whole βthis is how BG should be with even decksβ thing, the reason why thatβs a thing in the Brawl is because the Brawl is not account progression content. We normal players play BG to get rewards to improve our roster to improve our deck to get stronger in BG. That cycle mandates we play with our real rosters, or the whole exercise doesnβt work. The brawl is a bespoke competition targeting the absolute best of the best playing in a spectator exhibition. To get there at all they still had to earn their way in using their actual rosters.
If anything, the Brawl demonstrates how much skill really matters compared to roster. The competitors do not all have the same strength roster. They arenβt all whales. If you think youβd have even a microscopic chance beating, say, Tilapia if only you had the same deck as him youβre completely delusional. The guys at the top did not just whale themselves there. They are just really good. Sometimes spooky good. Heck the actual competitors were sometimes shaking their heads at some of the stuff they saw pulled off in the Brawl.
This Summoners Fest Battlerealm Brawl can be called Marvel Contest of Top Skilled Summoners
Outside of the initial rightful commendation to Liam, Iβm not sure of the point of the rest of this thread. To be clear, that meta was hard AF, and those competitors handled it flawlessly in ways that 99.9999% of players canβt even come close to. Yes, even Lagacy would destroy every single person posting here or reading this thread in any BG match with equal decks.
No need to glaze. Equal deck and even a paragon is washing lagacy.
Lagacy and especially Stonehenge got absolutely destroyed. They are cool guys, but man they did not play flawlessly, and I am highly confident a lot of us could have put up a better performance than stonehenge.
