Mastery should enhance the champion, not hinder them…

I believe that any mastery should improve your champion, not hinder them. I know that facing some opponents with certain masteries can be bad, but that's the skill of your opponent. But when does mastery harm your champion in every fight? I know some will say "just remove Dextery in that specific fight," but you can't do that in Battlegrounds...
