It seems we did indeed get a titan selector. I was able to select the reward I deemed best or most suitable for my progression (I selected a Titan crystal).

Because, per usual, they engaged in false advertisement.

And they asked for 12 hours in exchange for free stuff. Which isn’t free.

And they didn’t even correct themselves until “midstream.” And did so by briefly passing over it. And I’m being generous in “briefly.”

I just looked at the most recent selector for what you are thinking. The one in the Radiance store. You get to pick between actual champions. Do you want to know what it's called? "7-Star Champion Omega Selector"

If this Titan was called "Titan Champion Selector" I'd be on your side. It was not called that.

Do I follow basic understanding and common sense in real life? Yes, yes I do.

Somehow I'm still shocked by how many people complained about the titan selector. Multiple times on the stream (which you supposedly watched for 12 hours) they said it's a titan crystal for valiant players and shards for the other progressions.

And again, it's free! A lot of people just started the stream and walked away. There's not really a time commitment unless you wanted to watch it.

Titan Selector is just that a selection within a Titan. Not “Progression Based Shard Selector.” Of all selections, only one actually had Titan crystal. Therefore, even by your apologist rhetoric, all but one progression were not even capable of selecting a Titan.

And saying it midstream, after everyone wasted time to create an account, integrate accounts, get notifications, log on, etc. is typical of Kabam’s false advertisement.

While I agree that a free Titan selector (select any champion in the Titan pool) is not a believable reward for merely watching a livestream (the icon itself is just a Titan, as opposed to a Titan Nexus or other type of crystal), I agree that the word "Selector" can imply different things, not just "progression based reward".

For example, the Symbiote Sector Bonus Event:

Top Milestone reward is: Bonus Selector (description does describe Progression based options).

Paragon+ Reward option: 7-star Incursions Selector (description does describe which champions you can pick). The word "champion" or "pool" is not in the name.

One Selector lets you choose a specific champion (7-star Incursions champion), and one Selector lets you choose a progression based reward.

The problem is Kabam using the same word (selector) in inconsistent ways.

The problem is, that’s their business model.

It’s the same thing every time.

Do the things to get the things. Once you start doing the things, they welch on the things.

And since you already started doing the things, there’s no point to stop doing the things because you spent more effort starting to do the things than it would take to finishing doing the things.

It’s misinformation to secure an objective. And it doesn’t matter if it’s free. There’s nothing tangible or animate in what they sent. There’s no commodity, no resource used. It’s as free to them as it is to us.

Little bro needs to go back to reading class. A free Titan for keeping a stream going on in the background is pretty generous, but no, dude wants a selector for who is in the current titan, something Kabam has never done even for thousands of dollars.

I didn’t watch the stream and get a bunch of reunion crystals and a free Titan and i’m not bothered by it or complaining.

But it’s hard to imagine watching it to get a bunch of good “freebies” and then being able to find something wrong with that… 🤷‍♂️

Considering the rewards for players that attended, along with the fanfare of the event, I think that’s a decent reward.

And they misspoke purposefully to boost viewership.

All the screwing around to hit the milestones certainly wasn’t worth a 5th dupe on Gentle with their rigged crystals.
