Who Should Be My First R4?

Hi Everyone,

I have enough resources to bring my first 7* to rank 4, and would love advice on which champ I should pick! Most of them aren’t duped and likely won’t be for awhile, so please take that into account. I know these are all meta champs, so I’m just wanting to make sure I choose the one that will carry me in the most situations until I build up the others.

These are my rank 2 & 3 7*s, the only notable ones at rank 1 would be Knull, Vox, Angela (sig 20), and Beta Ray Bill in case anyone wants to argue for those haha.

For your first R4, I would recommend taking up someone that can do well on both offense and defense. So I would recommend either onslaught, Nico, Jean, or Spider-woman. You can’t really go wrong with any of them. And honestly all of those champs, not just the four I mentioned, have a great argument to be taken up to R4 eventually

Thank you both! Would the spider woman nerf change your opinion on her? I still expect her to be great, just not sure if that moves the needle compared to the other meta champs here.

Jean is much more useful with the dupe, as is Nico.

Onslaught or Swoman are you best all-around champs at the moment.

If you care about BGs it doesn't matter who you pick, they will always be banned anyways. If you care about content, rank up Jean, Okoye, or Onslaught

I never ranked her for her ensnare. So no, it does not change anything. I don’t take her into fights where a 30% aar matters. That’s just asking to be frustrated 😂

Onslaught or Spider woman. Both are dual threat for BG.

Spider-Woman - she's already awakened and even after the recent changes she's still one of the best champions in the game.

She's great on offense and defense.

Also, I've always thought power sting is great against the AI.

Thanks everyone! I ended up going with Spiderwoman thanks to all the feedback! I’m pretty close to having the resources for a second r4 and deciding between Jean and Onslaught, so hopefully I’ll dupe one in the meantime!

I r4 my spider woman. Love her. Her power sting is great. I also have Jean. Love her also, but mine is dupe and max sig.

I decided to wait to see who got duped first, and got really lucky with a Titan crystal and duped jean! I took her to r4 because I love her character and playstyle. I just recently got onslaught, so hopefully I’ll learn him and dupe him while I’m building my resources back up! Thanks for all the advice
