New Mode Conccept For MCOC - "Tower"
Essentially, it's not a new mode idea. It's existed for a long time now, BUT, new to MCOC.
Arcade games made it popular I believe, however, I'm taking inspiration specifically from combat games like Tekken/Mortal Kombat.
The gist is for it to be the premium heir to Arena - and unofficially branded as "Arena on roids". What do I mean by this?
It's simple. Arena simply isn't engaging or worth players' time for Units.
Tower successfully replaces it for Paragon/Valiants.
The idea would be for it to start off basic, then the fights gradually become more difficult - with higher tier Defenders and nodes stacking.
FOR example, a list of Defenders appear as a Tower.
First fights, easy defenders like Valkyrie/Crossbones/Rocket/etc.
Then, mild defenders like Moleman/Nimrod/Count Nefaria/etc.
Then, solid defenders like Gorr/Doom/Red Skull
Then, high tier defenders like Jean Grey/Serpent/Nico/etc.
As you GO UP the Tower, Defenders are more difficult with nodes stacking from previous ones appeared - each Floor of the Tower.
Granted, it's up to the Devs how these are sorted/randomized.
However, the premise is that there is a Boss, every so amount of Floors - each time a Boss is defeated - Rewards are handed out and a node is applied to the next Defenders in the Tower - and the Rewards are Units more gratifying than how they would be obtained via Arena. By the time someone gets to Floor 15, there should be maybe 5 nodes stacked, then Floor 30 maybe 10 nodes stacked, then Floor 45 maybe 15 nodes stacked...
However, only high end players could do this because of the Roster need. Hence, Tower.
