Root - Stuck In One Place

Perhaps I'm on one because I jus finished the VtD Quest, which I'm glad you all enjoyed but I found it torture until Howard, but there's a certain irony in the fact that Root keeps you in place, and I see it in almost every Fight.
Is it just me, or does anyone else need a break from Root? I mean, I know it's one of the newest mechanics, but I feel like every Fight has it. It's the new Unblockable.
Anyone else, or am I just frustrated after the Quest? Thoughts?

I kinda agree with you on this one. It feels less like a neat mechanic and more like a "we want you to take damage from this attack specifically" mechanic which is annoying to me.

Root, unstoppable & unblockable all over 9.3 and beyond.

Then there's the relic-thing.

Something ive never fully understood in this game since the beginning, is the need to drain a players health for no reason at all.
