The 1 aspect of the egg relic that ruins the whole character...

When equipped, it reduces your total buff bank from 10 to 6.
It takes away 4 of your potential buffs. WHY?
If the goal was to "buff" VTD, why add a baked-in nerf?

Have you actually used the relic yet? It's a fine trade off.

Compare them side by side and make your own judgement. He's objectively better with the relic, but you don't have to use it.

Its designed to make him better to use in the initial few matches and bgs, unless you're doing super long content like incursions they're 10 buffs is overkill and being able to trigger them on the striker is worth it

Sure, it's technically a nerf, but it's a fair one. Two points to consider:

1. You used to need several power gain buffs because the only way to cycle your RNA bank was to throw SP3s on a regular basis. Now your buffs last longer and you can get them back with the relic. As a result, he can work just fine with fewer buffs.

2. Diminishing returns makes each copy of a buff weaker, so having 2 furies instead of 3, for example, isn't a big deal because that 3rd one wasn't doing much anyway.

....and of course, the trade-off is that he ramps way faster and more predictably. No need to dance around for 2 minutes trying to get the right buffs to pop up. You get your optimal configuration and high damage right from the start. I'll take that trade-off any day.
