Do I use gem on nico?

Should I use 7* mystic gem on Nico? I know she'll be in the titan for a while, but is she powerful enough to just pull the trigger on her? Shes the only champ I have other than enchantress who id want to use the gem on, but I do have the new Mystic Spidey lined up soon but idk how impactful his awakening is.

Save it and use it for new spidey.

Nico needs it for her damage but new spidey needs it to take out the likes of serpent, DP etc...

If you are really set on using your awaken gem on Nico Minoru... and you think it is not going to bother you if you pull her after awaken her (note: it happens a lot where in you pull them multiple times after using awaken gem) moreso if you plan on opening lots of Titan Crystals. basically, higher the sig - higher the damage.

If you planning on opening a number of titans when the new one drops in a couple of weeks, I would hold off and hopefully you awaken her naturally then.

I have like 6-7 class gems and I had 1 generic that I've already used on Nico. She does need it for damage and I already took her to r4 before using the gem. Without sig she felt a bit meh, mainly because of lack of damage, but also because her pause on debuff immunity prolongs the immunity, and that makes her a lot less stressful to play. I also didn't like Indian spider man play style from the video and wouldn't take him to r4 even if I got him. And having about 50 6* gems collecting dust feels very sad

I just came back to the game after a while so Im pretty behind and only have 4 r4s so 7* gems are very new to me lol

Nah she is actually the embodiment of mid on attack without her awakening ability. I'd personally just awaken Nico but either option is fine. Plus banquet is coming up so another gem could pop up soon anyways

I also faced the same tough decision because I pulled a mystic and still don't have Nico awakened but I went with Pav because aside from the fact that Nico is still in the Titan and will be for a while, what really made me want to pull the trigger is the fact that Nico gets shut down by any meta where her debuffs don't stick like the current one and she's just complete useless. Pav on the other hand really hard to shut off, only node I could think off was fisticuffs. In terms of speed they're both just as fast, they handle all four problematic cosmic defenders just as well, the only difference is Pav is more reliable on attack because he doesn't rely on debuffs and has better power control while Nico is a way better dual threat.

I'd go Pav personally, but if you really like Nico it's a solid choice too just keep in mind Pav is useless without that awakened ability, Nico isn't

I have a r3 unawakened nico and took her out of my deck to put my maxed 6* in for that reason.

When does SPINDY enter the titan though, if he does? I can't keep up with who's gonna be where and when, haha

If you awaken her with a gem and then pull her from your next Titan immediately it's going to feel like the biggest waste ever already happened to me with Bastion when I could've given it to Solvarch, and like I said Nico still works without her awakening Spider India is straight up useless without it therefore he needs it more. I know people love to glaze Nico and how good she is (because she is) but overall she has more restraints than Spider India does (she is 100% reliant on debuffs so any node with tenacity or any purify or debuff immunity just shuts her off completely) and they handle the exact same matchups (Serpent, Dark Phoenix, Thanos, Maestro) so I don't really see a point to prioritizing Nico for all these reasons.

Only reason you got more people saying Nico is because most don't even have an awakened Spider India yet, but eventually once everyone gets him and starts to dupe him I think his value is going to be equal or even higher than Nico's simply because there are almost no nodes than can shut down his kit and damage whereas Nico gets shut down relatively easily by nodes, she's literally ass in the current GC meta and it's not even a full on purify meta lol.

blow your titan load first. If you are strapped for titans, then use the gem. It really comes down to the odds. If your are about to pull 5-10 titans at once when they update the crystal, then save it. If you are Titan poor, use it.
