What would make you $pend on this year Black Friday / cyber Monday deals?

What will entice you to even spend even with the current state of the game?

Sure the festive brawl or whatever was a nice thing to do, but there’s just way to much things where the game should have been better this year. We are going to end this year with nothing really game changing or breaking in the game.

Especially going on 10 years & the new game modes that are planned just doesn’t hit the same.

Just take a look at how battlegrounds ended up.

It’s now just a race to get a stack roster to fill r4 30 roster as I see it as resources will be flooded with lots of r4 materials on the sales

The sale basically just telling me, here you go, get more r4’s for battlegrounds as we start rolling into banquet 2025 and teasing those r5 7* materials.

I don’t see anything game breaking for the sales besides the fact I’m going to see a lot more rosters with r4’s in battlegrounds.

Depends entirely on whether they stick to their word and the earlier milestones are just as loaded as the more expensive ones. If I'm not mistaken Mike said earlier milestones would be frontloaded from now on, if they actually stick to what they said then I will spend otherwise I'm skipping and we'll see how Banquet goes. There isn't a single item or champ that I really really want that really catches my attention but if the milestones are frontloaded I might go for it.

It's always great to look back and have perspective because these items in the deals depreciate so quickly in this game. It kind of helps remind me not to be too enticed to spend money on friday.

They're Thronbreaker/Paragon unit deals so not representative of what you were getting.

Obviously it's going to look worse to you.

The difference was quite good in units deals We have to wait & see how this year deals gonna be

Would be awesome if see dark phoenix even in money deals or webstore milestone but very slim chances

Yondu and Super Skrull certainly aren’t doing it for me, both of them are as mid as it gets.

I just want R4 materials for BGs exactly like you’ve said. The upcoming titan kinda sucks and I’ve got everything now from the current one. Can’t see there being a 2025 champion selector.

It does look a bit bleak. Best thing I’d want is 7* shards for the December pool update, but I’ve got around 40 crystals waiting to be opened already.

The problem with Cyber Weekend is that the Banquet is just around the corner, and I find that to be a much more fun event. Putting aside how disappointing the individual GBCs were last year, I really loved the community aspect of the event. It's both fun as an alliance, for me as part of a friends group on Line, and just as part of the MCOC community in general as we all chipped in for the best rewards possible in the Realm event.

Cyber Weekend has nothing like that, so I'll probably be saving most of my units and definitely my cash. I might pick up a smaller offer if it's good enough, but I don't have the money to go crazy in both events.

Kabam sell relics like the cosmic egg I would spend a lot on that, but I expect the community would hate that. Imagine relics like:

Stormbreaker: armour breaks can stack 5 times and duration refreshed on heavy. Additionally, medium attacks pulverize one armour from opponent.

Katana: Blade’s danger sense expands to all mystic champions, dimensional beings and monsters. Additionally, inflict rupture on bleed immune champions.

Etc etc

Some really easy buffs there and a nice way to generate revenue if the community allows it.

There’s nothing else particularly valuable to be sold at cyber weekend as the game economy progressed too quickly with the number of crystal shards now on offer.

Let's be honest. Most people who spend will spend when it comes. They always do. Some people don't spend for whatever reason, and they're not exactly the target audience. Every sale, there are people who say they don't know if they will spend "this time", but they do.

If you've spent in the past and are financially able to spend again this time, I think the most relevant question to ask is whether it was worth it for you to have participated in the prior sales, or if you regret doing so now.

The other thing to remember is, even if you're unhappy with the current state or direction of the game, the reality is that the people in charge of those decisions won't necessarily be in charge of that in the future. Some will leave voluntarily for other opportunities, some will be laid off for performance or cost-cutting reasons. So it's best to always focus on your own personal needs and desires when it comes to spending on this game.

$50 for a titan and 10 sig stones 💀💀💀. The daily ravengers pack costs $5 and gives you 5 sig stones AND t7b fragments. These deals are horrible

Why every sales for the last 3 years feel like a hard pass, but once we get past the sale, we feel like they are good (especially after seeing next sale). Like is there any psychological reason or kabam just suck?

Btw why they center everything on yondu and skrull like why tf I'm gonna r4 and max sig them over other awesome cosmics/techs?

The event gives out R4 gem and sig stones that you can only use on Yondu or SS, so you don't really have to choose between them and other champs on your roster.

I had about 24k units saved and spent it all. I'm neither excited nor underwhelmed. It is what it is. I'll put down the kids tonight, finish work, and have a few cocktails and do some rankups. Just floating through life and this game despite all the bs is still better for me than reading the news or watching sports.
