Raids Cyclops vs Destroyer bug?

So I took Cyclops and DOT damage hack. I'm fighting Destroyer in the middle path. I'm doing the 4 mediums attacks prompts and 5 light attacks when not stunned prompts but my cyclops doesn't seem to get any raid fervor. He just stays at 0 raid fervor and that destroyer stays at 100%-99% hp after a 5 minutes long fight. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong here, this must probably be a bug. Additionally the charges for Vanguard aren't being made as well. A swift fix would be really appreciated as destroyer is the first defender in the middle and there are 3 more defenders including the main boss.

Are you getting intercepts to place debilitates to be able to build up raid fervor?

And another question: does his Penance count goes down? If it’s just the Fervor that you’re not aging fast enough might just be that you forgot to do your missions, but if the Penance tracker doesn’t go down then it’s the same issue as I’m having with Northstar on Terrax on the similar node just on the left
