Anyone else notice how you can't evade out of a special you started blocking anymore?

I noticed since this update if I am getting hit with a special, like shuri sp1 for example. I normally block the first few hits, then when she starts shooting the last beam, it hits my block and I can't evade at the end to get an opening and punish her. Since the latest update, it's not possible. I have been trying to evade out of the last beam, but it's like my champ is stuck in it. I swipe back as normal during the last beam and it doesn't let me out. I've noticed with other specials as well that are similar like fury sp1.

It's been hit or miss for me for the last 2-3 updates. Sometimes I can do it, sometimes my block just drops, and sometimes it's like you describe.

I have yet to figure out what the difference is in the three situations.

Definitely familiar with this. It’s like you’re stuck or something is failing your dex.

I've also noticed that punishing isn't working as well. I'll swipe forward and the character doesn't move, like they are still blocking the special when it's over and sometimes not even when blocking. And another thing that has gotten worse is the combo will continue after I block. For instance, back up and try a light intercept but the opponent backs up, so I hold block for a second then swipe forward and do an in place medium attack instead of starting a new combo and dashing.

I was able to dex out of cables and punisher 2099s L1 after blocking the first hit or two.

Shuri the timing seemed different and I got clipped the first time but was able to dex out of the beams the 2nd time.

Who else would be good to test this versus ?

I feel like this has been an issue for a long time not just this update. I think the 60 fps change made dexing some champs easier (like bullseye) but some champs it made more difficult (like Nick)

For me, the prime suspect is yelena sp2. If I try to dex it by just swiping, it works. But, if i'm holding block before swiping, then it gets me everytime.
