Save for banquet or spend now?

This is my first month back from MCOC, and I have missed the past 2 banquets due to breaks. Are cyber deals usually more worth than banquet deals? Im primarily asking about the real money offers since I am saving units for abs and/or kingpin. Also, how many units will I need to save for abs/kingpin?

banquet = more rng

but each year kabam has been making banquet better because of the champs this year and global milestones

In terms of real-money deals, CW is usually miles better. Simply because the Banquet doesn't really have real-money deals. It has some, but nothing on par with CW as far as I can recall. Instead, it's usually just about units.

I'm not saying that you should spend your money in any kind of way, but if you were to spend money, I would probably spend them now during CW so that you get the best bang for your bucks in terms of additional rewards, and then spend the units themselves during the Banquet. It can be wise to hold on to $50-100 for the Banquet, though, since there usually are some deals that can be worth picking up. There tends to be a few $50 deals that give you 10 Banquet crystals and maybe some additional things like an extra pull from the exclusive champion pool.

I personally probably won't buy any of the CW deals, but might pick up something as a Christmas gift to myself during the Banquet.

if you are spending real money, this event will be better than banquet as far as bang for your buck.

Last year I think you needed 15K units to get all the milestones for banquet. I saved all year and have 20K. Inflation. Will likely need more. Units are easier to get this year. Someone will correct me on the units if I am off.

A single CW Odin as a valiant right now is about as good a deal as we’ve yet had. A generic AG and a nexus R4 crystal is huge, not to mention the other stuff. $100 extra stuff is probably about as good as what you’d get in the first 10,000 units of milestones for banquet. Last year’s banquet crystals were a bit rubbish for most players. If you’re going to spend, CW offers the best value.

For me, I always prefer Cyber than Banquet.

But if you're interested in any champs in Banquet this year, you should save for him.

Alr bet thank you guys Im going to try to grind to around 15-20k units from 7k, and buy an odin rn to make that easier and get the nice rewards Ill post my pulls here soon!

It seems like a lot of the top players are buying the 4 cyber sale Odins but saving the units from those deals for banquet instead of using them on the cyber unit deals. I think that's a logical approach as the Odins look like good value but the unit deals aren't great.

OP, take advantage of the fact that CW last two weeks this year. Wait as long as possible to see if they release any more info on banquet between now and then. Personally, I’m hoping for some info on the acquisition details for Abs and KP in the banquet.

Don't forget that an Odin during Banquet nets you 5k units and a shot at 1 of the champions. This may actually be worth more than an Odin from the current CW deals.
