Deathless champs alternative method?

As December approaches, it’ll officially mark one year since the Deathless Thanos release — and we’re already into the Stellar-Forged Champions chase saga. I guess Kabam previously mentioned that after one year, there would be an alternative method to acquire Deathless champions (besides spending a ridiculous amount of units). So I’m really hoping to get some clarity on a few things:

1. Is there actually going to be an alternative method to get Deathless champions?

2. If yes, when can we expect it?

3. And how will it work?

(Will they be obtainable through new content without needing to spend units?

Will the difficulty be high-end or more accessible?

Or are they planning to reduce the unit cost on the existing piece selectors?)

Any info would be super helpful going into Cyber Weekend and Banquet, since it really affects how I plan my unit spending. As a free-to-play player, I’ve saved up for a full year — I should have 50k+ units before Christmas — and I genuinely want to make the most efficient choices with them.

Please @KabamPinwheel @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex shed some light on this if possible.

So far they've added one piece in WoF, five pieces in radiance, and two other pieces have been available with significantly better value for the 5k units (and they still have at least two more rounds of that). I wouldn't expect anything else for the next several months because that is already quite a bit of reduced-cost access in less than a year.

I get that everyone that doesn't have them wants them for free (I had to spend some units my self; worth it), but that's probably not going to happen anytime soon, if ever.

I believe it's actually 4 other pieces (not 2) from the 500 unit per chance deal. If you buy them all, the thing refreshes, so can get 2 pieces for 10k (assuming no luck). One event for she-hulk, one for stick man, so 4 total.

That said, I also hate spending units on them. Especially during this time of year.

Men this leaves a bad taste in my mouth, I came back to celebrate 10 years found out I missed the deathless run except she hulk, kabam crashed did say we'll get them later this year and putting one piece in WOF along side a Titan Nexus is criminal who in their right mind would choose that one piece not the whole champion, a single piece for such torture of a quest

They specifically said that there would be catch up but it would either be expensive or be locked behind harder content than their original acquisition methods, which they have been. They never said you would just be able to get them after a year
