Hot take: I don't like the cosmetics for limited editions first time 7 stars

I wanna start by saying this is not a hate post on the cosmetics, but a critisicism of why I don't like the brand new cosmetics and a very easy fix I wanna propose for the future.

I personnaly dislike the colors on my champions profiles. I obviously have Miles from the sig 200 gift (thank you for that by the way) and I picked up the limited edition Super-Skrull from ravager sales selector. The problem is the cosmetics simply don't work for me. They look, without sounding mean, goofy and annoying. I wish I didn't have to see these colors all the time. It annoys me to see these cometics on my champion when I play with them.

I have though, as I mentionned earlier, a very simple fix : give us the ability to turn these cosmetics off when we want to. For the people who love them, they can keep them. For the people like me who don't like them, we can have our champions look normal.

Kabam Osaurus Rex, if you read this post I hope you can consider giving us a solution to this issue. I don't think this is asking too much. I'm just giving feedback to make the game better for every player.

I forgot to clarify I only picked up the limited edition Super skrull to awaken him. I obviously had awakening gems from the odins, but I wanted to save them for other champions. I had three selector in total. Two from the game and one from the store track. I picked Super-skrull twice and Yondu once.

Yeah man the super small border that you aren't even looking at in a real match is totally goofy and annoying. I forgot we are playing a gritty realistic mobile game. Kabam please remove Spider-Ham from the game, he's too goofy

One of my initial requests on this feature was that we could have the ability to turn it on / off at will in the future. It's definitely something that's been discussed, but did not make it in for V1.

No promises on a quick change, but I will poke at it again.

It’s not terrible,.,but strange.

Would be cool if they could do something a bit more rustic or in line with the hero or background design that suits them,.,idk, webbing around and inside the boarder for spider champs etc.

A priority fix should be to apply the effects on the champ background and not on their face.

I like the idea of cosmetics being fairly unique to each hero based on their background - the webbing for spider-mean/women is a good example. Green gamma rays for gamma champs etc. Reminds me of the metallic and hologram comic covers Marvel brought in during the early 90s as a gimmick.

I know I take this to the extreme and no one else in the entire game agrees with me on this, but this is why I don't use relics. It clutters up the champion collection screen and the in fight display so much. All the icons on the champions in our inventories is getting excessive and cluttered and simply does not look good to me. Also, why do the champion names turn yellow with a relic if they already have the relic icon on them? Why do they need 2 redundant indicators of a relic?

Again, I know I take this to the extreme, but aesthetics and "clean-ness" is important to me. I like looking at my collection frequently. I'm glad the option to turn off the rainbow pfp seems to be coming. Hopefully further changes can be made to help clean the champion page.

yeah i’m the same,.,I don’t attach relics to my top 3 champs on my profile because i think it looks dumb.

I’ve given up on all my other champs and just leave them on because of certain content “requiring” them.

I mostly try to ignore them tbh.
