How on earth as a new player do you get tier 2 and the like catalysts, I never see any events that contain them, did there not used to be catalyst events? Or am I not leveled up enough yet? Am level 28 I think.

I know they are not useful for later content, but I am not planning on getting that far, I have a job and a real life, be nice to upgrade what I have as I have about 20 2 star heroes that I am totally unable to rank up

You only need about 5 minutes of free time a day for 1 day to bypass needing 2* champions.

Check your pride and arrogance at the door. People that play the game more than you and have progressed further than you have lives and jobs too. You're not special for that, and nobody here is less than you. You forgot to mention having a family, so I guess lots of us have you beat anyway.

What daily quest, I see no daily quest that offers any catalysts?

Chap I am not that fussed about free stuff, I have no intention of progressing hugely in the game, I am simply wanting to develop the characters I have and obtain as I go, I have about 20 3 stars without any way of upgrading them.
