Timing for Baptism of Doom 9.3.6 boss

Hey y'all...

So I'm getting really frustrated with this 9.3 Dread Emperor Doom boss because I just can't seem to comprehend the timing of evading his special 1.

And as you know, from phase 2 on, if you miss an evade of his special 1, you're immediately killed.

I seem to be losing a ton of life and a ton of revives because of this very thing. But it feels like it's impossible for me to figure out when I'm doing it right and when I'm doing it wrong.

Is it evade, hit, evade, hit, evade, hit, all in the same timing?

Or is it evade, hit, evade, hit, pause, evade, hit?

It feels like no matter what I do, I seem to be getting clipped by his final hit of his Sp1 as I'm dashing back to evade it.

Yep just used another 6 revives and still in the same phase lol.

His sp2 I can seem to successfully evade correctly but that's only with 80% success rate.

Sp1 seems to be about a 30% success rate but it feels impossible to 'correct' because I don't know which way to correct it, if I'm going too fast or too slow.

On the sp1, there’s a small pause between your second hit and the animation for his third. It’s not very long, just enough to put your rhythm off from the first two evades/hits.

Simula67 on youtube does great boss walkthroughs. Where he shows u how to dex the specials. If u havent seen it i would suggest checking it out. One punch man was pretty annoying tbh
