Rein in “Dragon Lady” mod

It’s come to the attention of some players that the mod in the discord server who will be referred to as “Dragon Lady” has little self control and takes offense to the slightest thing. Making any statement or asking a question may be taken personally by said mod and result in a 24-168 hr mute within the server.

This individual is taking away from constructive conversations and their ego needs to be curbed. Open discourse should be encouraged especially when criticisms pointed out about rewards is provided. Criticism is meant to create a guidepost towards change, not to be shunted and individuals ostracized for bringing forth criticism.

Please remedy this individual so that others won’t be effected by their emotions

People are not modded for expressing criticisms on the Discord. They are moderated for violating the rules, which includes being respectful in their statements.

The discord is full of people constantly criticizing the game. However, when that criticism becomes personal attacks on the developers, or other discord members, or general abuse, people can and will be muted.

Also, the moderator in question is blamed for a lot of moderation actions because they are often the most visible. However, at any particular moment in time there are often many other moderators lurking in the chat not actually talking, and just monitoring the discussion. The moderator most visible in chat at any particular moment is often blamed for all moderator actions that take place at the time. But I've muted people and then had that blamed on another moderator because they were chatting visibly. The moderators have an informal rule not to correct those mistaken accusations, because it shouldn't matter which moderator takes action. It does not.

All of the actions taken by the moderators is both discussed and recorded, and in general reviewed by the community staff. Anyone is free to request that moderator actions be reviewed, but in general most moderator actions are already reviewed by the rest of the moderator staff, and when necessary by Kabam's community staff as well.
