spend 16k units or save for banquet

i have 40k units , i am a f2p player , i like yondu a lot and i want kingpin/absman, what would be the best investment for me to do spend unit on for the 16K units i would get 2 r4 gems and a picker for a photon/dpx/medusa or should i just save my units for banquet whcih would get me better rewards?

25k units more than enough for banquet. You can get 5k more by the time banquet comes.

750 from radiance too. Banquet comes at the end of December. And you get special arenas, 2 more weeks of live banquet. 5k is actually a lower number for an obvious arena grinder.

You can get 550 units each round just from milestones, and two sets total 1100 units. Each week, daily quests give you 105 units, bringing the total to 1205 without arena crystals. With at least four weeks, that’s 4840 units without opening a single arena crystal.

Casual grinder won't have time for all milestones, I personally have been grinding arena whole year and am getting maybe ~400 each grind

I also had about 41k units, F2P, been grinding my ass off since last year banquet ended. This round I'm going for the 15k unit spend, and am pretty confident I can get back to 40k by Christmas. Going for the same things you did, I think it's worth it. And with banquet coming, just a good time to spend some gold on rank-ups and start shining a bit in battlegrounds. Banquet I believe will be lower units requirement, so all good there.
