Deathless Champions worth focussing on?

I missed out on the first 2 Deathless champions but have since acquired them - are Deathless Guillotine and King Groot worth investing awakening gems into for general usage? Or are they viable to still get the Mausleum and/or Necropolis objectives? I have Deathless She-Hulk at R3 and awakened, and Vision awakened but unranked.

Duped guilly is helpful with regen in necro. Not worth AG. Just think of her as a revive or two extra as unduped.

R1 vision was enough for what he was used for.

Unless you are a fan of a champ, R3 dshulk and r3 dhanos are enough for the run. Ignore others.

So because you played a long time, you should get champs that other players can’t?

It wasn’t a reward. It was an event. That you had to be playing at a specific time period of the game to get.

What do you mean other players can’t? You have fingers right? If you do then you can, go grind arena and buy the pieces. If you lost your chance to get them for free during the event then save units and get them. You can’t possibly be so entitled that you think you deserve the champs for free when there’s people who had to play the game every week for a long period of time to get them for free.

It was an event that just gave extra if you decided to participate and wasn’t detrimental if you didn’t,..so it was balanced well and didn’t break the game.

Although it’s your opinion I wouldn’t necessarily call it “dumb” as it sparked interest for the ones that chose to take part in the chase.

Deathless King Groot is actually fairly useful* as a questing champion; it's just that's not the main focus of the game, anymore. He doesn't need Awakened for it, though.

*Shrug-off, regeneration (on SP3), multiple immunities, huge burst damage on SP2, and permanent armour breaks which also reduce energy resistance...

Deathless Guillotine is a Mystic nuke who I still see in BGs decks at R3 or even r4, because her damage is ridiculous. Again though, she doesn't need Awakened for that. Although a Ghost Rider relic is a worthwhile investment.

Both of them become truly fantastic and versatile in the Deathless Necropolis run, thanks to their synergies. So many Autoblock champs that DKG just blasts through...

So I'd say: they're both worth the rank-up resources for r2, which is not a huge investment these days. But not an Awakening Gem. No way.

As for Deathless Vision?

Well, I took mine to r2. And I do use him, from time to time. Beyond that: let's just wait for the Tune-up in January, and keep our fingers crossed... 🤞🏼

I’m playing arenas and saving units for buying deathless pieces. I only have D She Hulk at rank 3 and I like her. I want to get Deathless Thanos. Cyber weekend and banquet offers are tempting me to spend. Thank you so much for sharing this useful information about Deathless warriors. It’s a long road but it’s worth it.
