Big drop of champs into the 7* basic??

Someone I’m in a chat with said there’s supposedly a drop of extra champs into the basic 7* pool beyond what’s being added from the titan refresh. He said:
“Yeah last i heard it was the 7th [of December]. Anti venom, mr.sinister, medusa, ultron, sentinel, many more being added”

Is there any truth to this??

it’s true and they’re being added tomorrow. It’s the gifted guardians, the rebirth champs, and the saga champions (+ a few more like invisible woman).

There's a load of new champs from prior special crystals/events, who are coming to the basic 'in December'.

If any more specific date has been given, hopefully someone will chip in

I would have thought the most likely date is with the new Titan tomorrow, as that also leads to an update of the basic pool; but that's just a guess.

Can anyone from Kabam leave a comment? It would have made sense to make a formal announcement on the date of the champs being added, especially with only a day or up to a week left before the changes happen.

Kabam never makes a post before new champions are added to the Titan/Basic. They do however make posts the day it happens.

I find it remarkable that you patronize me about how abundantly clear this is and still can’t provide an exact date. “December” is not a “literal factual” date. The question is whether they all get added tomorrow on December 2 or if the full additions to the basic crystal are staggered by a week (or more). If you don’t know, it would be best to say that you don’t know instead of being superficially arrogant. I’ll do it for you. You can’t actually answer the question of the specific date. Thanks for the useless feedback, and it still would be nice if Kabam could give a formal statement to answer the question.

You posted this after watching Seatin’s video, which came out shortly after I posted my question. The other guy also only gave a direct answer after watching Seatin’s video. That’s not helpful since I also watched his video after he made it, but the first guy pretended to give a conclusive response before he actually knew anything. Funny how some of you play with time and sequence of events to attempt to appear intelligent when you’ve actually failed the initial task. The super-hilarious thing is that those featured champs didn’t make it into the initial crystal today. It was only the Titan champions at first, and then others were added later after Kabam claimed that was a mistake. Who knows if it was or just an afterthought, but to my point, an official pre-announcement of champs to expect on specific dates would have been great. Stop playing defense for them every time Kabam drops the ball in their process.

More like *drops the ball in their communication. The communication is bad even for people looking diligently for answers to questions that should have been made clear. Finding a new Seatin video (not an official source) 30-minutes after posting a concern and a day before the update happens is a disservice to the community. Take the constructive criticism to communicate better. It will do a world of good for public perception of the company.

Not that it matters much, because I try to avoid this forum like the plague unless I have questions that I truly give up on. The constructive criticism to the community is that there aren’t too many of you who post here regularly. We recognize your aliases and see the same old types of responses from the same old people. What I mean by that is that you proved my point by ridiculing me about a serious question that was being artfully dodged while claiming to answer it and then followed it up with a video that was late to the party, pretending like it was available all along. I go away thinking how incredibly unhelpful this was, and I see Line chats with hundreds of people who can’t stand the treatment they get on the forums from an elite few. This example is why. Hard as it may be to stomach, you’ll probably want to consider this. Those same groups confirmed that you didn’t really answer my question until the Seatin video came out. They had already circulated the same video in Line. It’s not about the timeliness but rather about the attitude applied in the process of giving elusive non-answers and posting untimely feedback. Attitude is everything even when you can’t actually be helpful. It’s keeps people coming back because at least they can like you.
