So is punisher going to be another Dark Phoenix?

Like the title reads. Will punishers rework just be an excuse to pay wall another absurdly strong defender or will he have normal, attainable and non-pay walled avenue of acquisition? Kabam has already washed their hands clean of balancing their awful creation in DO by scrubbing the balance program all together- is the next slight to double down on what may well be their worst practice?

He’s a trophy champ, those are always extremely rare but he isn’t going to be on Dark Phoenix level in terms of strength. He’s not going to be as meta relevant so while there will definitely be a huge paywall he’s not going to be a must have like Dark Phoenix was

Defensive aspect, even on release Jessica was never a Dark Phoenix level defender not even close. The paywall is there sure but she isn’t a must have like Dark Phoenix, Punisher isn’t going to be shifting the meta massively either

I don't even have a Punisher, but I'm sure he'll be better than he is now.

Even if he isn't; Punisher will be very similar to Vision (OG), Thanos, Maestro, Jessica Jones, Kang, Steve The Summoned Symbiote, and even Quake at this point.

Personally I don't think ill drop resources into him, but he'll be good to have. Even if I do happen to get him through an outrageous amount of Battle Chips, i still won't dump a copious amount of iso, cats, and gold into him until I know he's good. Do I think he'll be like Dark Phoenix? No. Not in the slightest.

Nah he’s not even gonna be a top 5 defender, he’s just going to be a Rhino hard counter. Defensively he’s more at Rhino level than he is at Dark Phoenix.

He’s gonna be nowhere near Dark Phoenix level, especially on defense. Based on the abilities, he’s most likely gonna be a Deathless Thanos (though with less health) style of stall with his indestructible, exhaustion, physical resistance, and block dmg. On offense he may be like Valkyrie
