Cyber Deals vs Banquet: A summary from an alliance member on which is better.
"I've been asked a few times by players at different levels if they should spend on the current deals. And some have gone further to ask if they can only spend on one should it be these deals or Banquet in a few weeks. Here's my advice based on experience :
The current deals are among the best of the year and you know what you're getting for your cash.
Banquet is one of the worst investments Kabam offers for all but the biggest spenders and rewards are largely a gamble - very juicy rewards for just a few accounts & pretty **** rewards for the vast majority.
The current deals are designed to help most competitive players feel like they are "catching up" to the top teams and higher accounts, and Banquet is designed to allow the biggest whales to pull away from the pack again with the first r5s.
In summary, if there's a time in the year to spend it's now, and if it's one or the other, get yourself an early Holiday present instead of gambling with Banquet crystals and a longshot at ranked rewards.
