Thronebreaker Reward problem

So me and my friend reached throne breaker nearly the same day but he is getting 7star shards but im only getting 2k 6star shards? I started playing battle grounds unranked so I had some points before but the rewards didn't change? it changed for him because he didn't play it, now im stuck with 6star shards, what should I do
