7-Star Crystal Pool Bug: A Fair Solution for Everyone

Regarding Kabam’s decision to give compensation to all players who opened 7-star crystals before the actual update with the new champions added to the pool, I think there’s a very simple way to make sure no one feels treated unfairly.

Kabam could just give back all the 7-star crystals that players opened after the update, but in a special pool that doesn’t include the new champions. That way, both sides would be satisfied.

Everyone would benefit from the doubled crystals: each original crystal would have one roll in the pool with the new champions, and one roll in the pool without them. Fair for everyone.

That cannot be the solution firstly because the "everyone" u have considered don't include those who didn't hoarded the crystals and they will still remain at disadvantage. Secondly the aim should be to minimize devaluation of a 7* crystal if 7*s are going to be the highest rarity for upcoming years. If someone has got a 7* crystal maybe from a cyber deal than pouring so many crystals in the game immediately devalues his investment since anyone can just get huge amount of free crystals just by a bug.

The only reasonable compensation is 4x titans for me, for every bugged crystal opened by the realm.

In my reflection, I also considered the two points of disagreement you mentioned. That said, what do you suggest?
Is the solution I’m proposing more unfair or more harmful to the game’s economy than the one Kabam has chosen?

The correct basic pool is of 153 champs. 21 were missing in the bugged crystal. So chance of pulling a new champion was around 21/153~ 1/7 per crystal opened. So make a special crystal with only those missing champions and give them in the ratio of 1:7 only to the players who opened during that particular window. They will still remain in advantage compared to the rest of the players but this advantage will be cut out by a factor of 7 compared to what it is now and moreover chance of them pulling a new champion would still be same as what it would be if they had opened the correct crystals.
