Has Kabam compensation plan affect your plans for Banquet

Honestly the way I valuate 7* sig stones and 7* crystals has been affected greatly

Since it is given away as compensation and some players opened a ton of bugged 7* crystals so it is not worth spending units on banquet crystals if the rewards are 7* crystal shards or sig stones

I feel I am going to be really disappointed at banquet this year

All that talk about rewards and game economy is thrown out of the window, valuation of 7* sig stones and shards are crashing right now

Nothing is premium anymore

Everyone’s new banquet plan - open everything immediately. I am sure many will be setting alarms in different time zones to not miss out.

You are acting the same way people acted during Y2K as if it’s the end of the world. People did not receive hundreds of generic signature stones. They’re getting 7* crystals. If you do not know the difference between the two, stop fear mongering.

You know, most everyone else who is getting these free crystals here recognize

1) there are other more viable and fair ways to compensate the mistake

2) they are getting an awfully sweet deal that is beyond generous

You on the other hand from other threads act like we can get 7 star sigs with 10 loyalty and it’s not big deal. No one wants people who were affected to not be made whole my friend, we are talking about the manner and value involved. Maybe quit acting like you aren’t getting anything when they roll out your excessive comp.

I saw youtube videos of crystals opening, champions like Serpent Onslaught etc getting additional 20 sigs per crystal, more crystals opening when compensation is given out

That's the equivalent of players using sig stones on their champions

Oh, so you’re going to cherry pick on crystal openings that feature strong champions like Serpent or Onslaught, but going to completely disregard the fact that people could’ve gotten dupes on champions like Rocket Raccoon, Moon Dragon, etc?

You’re only using extreme examples. This game is RNG based.

Here's the thing, hypocritical and unfair Kabam behavior bothers me because I do really care about the game. So I'm not really one of those people who wants to see Kabam do poorly financially because I'm upset about some of their decisionmaking. I want Kabam to succeed financially and in terms of quality control and consistency/fairness.

You give me vibes of having a middle of the line account where a few sig levels are meaningless, a player who just wants the new champ or flavor of the month and that's all you care about. That way of looking at things is perfectly fine; but its not the same for everybody. People grind and spend money, pick 1 sig stone from the DSE and put 1 sig at the time to improve a so called strong champion while others just get 20+ sigs for doing nothing.

I know players who bought multiple odins to use AGs on champs they were never able to dup, and this happens...

Wrong. People like me are getting generously compensated because of a mistake on Kabam’s end. People are most likely upset because you’re experiencing FOMO on not getting extra crystals.

The reality is it will be a never ending loop. “If somebody opened crystals at 1:45pm EST, what about the person who opened their crystals at 1:50pm EST?” Guess what? The goalpost moves cause now the person who opened their crystals at 1:55pm EST wants the compensation too. Guess what? The person who opened their crystal on day 2 instead of day 1 wants compensation because they were “busy with life”. Nothing will ever satisfy people, especially those who feel entitled to a compensation what was never theirs in the first place.

They get additional sigs and reach 200 now so they are one step ahead when 7* ascension materials are rolled out

Any champion they open in future are already sig 200 and will receive ascension materials

I don't want the compensation, I want the results of the bug to be fixed because I grind the game nickel and diming sig stones because of this bullsh"t 30 champ prestige they implemented

But the results of the bug are fixed. People who opened when the bug was live (and most likely didn’t know) will get compensated. People who waited until the pool was updated can now open their crystals. This is an example of “You can’t have your cake and eat it too”
