i was in the bg, and suddenly maintenance window pop up, what happened?

I think there's a bug with the events list. I saw some new events listed, something like 'GOLD TRACKER' and there's another one for 80 plus days.. I checked the rewards and I saw that most of it were already CLAIMED. I was further checking what was it all about when suddenly I got logged out.. I think that's what it's about.
