We don’t really need 6* ascension anymore

As an endgame player, which gets t2 dust from its release, now I see I don’t have any interest in this material. That would be cool to see selectors in the content which allows you to choose between dust and for example t6b/t3a, because this is more valuable resource for old valiant players. Or maybe there can be converter in the store which allows you to trade in your dust for these materials.

Remember when Ascension first start and players point out Ascension had a 1 on it.

Just out of curiosity, is there any chance Kabam would consider giving 6* a level 2 Ascension.

Don’t really think it’s worth to do alternative progression. Many of 6* are now available as 7* champs. 6* ascention was introduced because at that time there were a small amount of 7* and devs wanted for 6*s to be competent and useful for at least a year. Now, when 7* ascension is coming this spring and first r5s are coming this January (not really gonna tell about r6 punisher), there is no real reason for devs. That will cost newer players their resources (for example units during spending events or radiance if t3 dust will appear in store) and that means they will not progress in a right way, because 7*s anyway will be stronger with newer mechanics.

I disagree. Titan crystals are still difficult to get hands on and if you have bad rng like i do, i tend to open featured 6*s to get my hands on new champs who i get to 6r4 ascended (at r5 they compete with 7*s too much for rank up resources).

I dont use t1 dust anymore but that is rarely given to valiants anyways but still waiting to top up my t2 dust to ascend Jean Gray next. The number of people that who have completely shifted to 7*s are therefore a very small minority of players and even a minority among valiants. I dont think for example there are very many valiants who can complete the entire elder difficulty of event quest or crucible with 7*s alone.

I'm not sure what is endgame player, you can do all the story content in 1-2 months. But my 6r6 Ronan cheeses current bg season. Same with cpt psylock, and I only ascended her in this season. Yes, they do become less relevant, but you can still probably use the dust and it doesn't require any extra resources except gold. I don't really see why reason to remove it. If you need the gold, don't use the dust. It's that easy

Some people still benefit from 6* ascension, no doubt.

For those of us who don’t need any more of it, let us sell it or trade it for something else.

I'd happily trade it for t1 dust so I can ascend more of my 4*s for arena. I value t1 dust way more t2 now, I'm just a sending random champs with t2 now whenever it goes into overflow.

it should be tradable for truly endgame players (a bit like 5* and 6* rank up gems) but if you don’t have a full roster of 7* then ascension is still massively helpful for story and other content.
