Banquet Box 2025

I’m planning on definitely having 6 keys this year, so I can get all 7* and I’m gonna spend just a little bit extra to make sure I get absorbing man, but if I can only awaken 1 of the 7 who would be best?

I’m a die hard spider man fan and plan on taking all his villain 7* to rank 4. But will scorpion benefit a huge amount from it? Or would absorbing man be the way to go for the awakening?

Abs man definitely wants to be awakened and as high sig as possible. The higher sig, the less stress you have to keep his forms up. Scorpion wants to be awakened for the regen through his petrify on sp2. So it’s up to you. For me, I’m going to be awakening abs man (cause I love him) and I have a gem for Scorp. So it all depends on who you like more. My vote is abs man, but it is truly a toss up

I’m hoping we get 7* awakening gem shards in the milestones so then it gives me a good enough chance to awaken both 😂 im pretty sure scorpion only needs low sig so i can get him done pretty quick just gotta pray for one or the other. + if i pull any extra keys from the SBCs there’s a good chance at awakening him from that

I feel like as much as I try to understand Scorpion's 'sp2 petrify regen' thing, I don't think I've ever seen me successfully do it. Guess that bodes well for me cause if I draw him through the box it's unlikely I'll be able to dupe him.

Scorpion's sig is most useful in PvP content since everyone runs Willpower. As soon as you apply that Petrify, they'll being healing, which you block with said Petrify, and you get a percentage (based on sig level) of all of that health as regen yourself. Since your other debuffs will also trigger Willpower, that regen will also be cancelled out and you'll siphon it away as well. Unless you're up against a robot or someone who is immune to Petrify/can shrug it off, you basically get insta-regen.

In PvE content, the opponent needs to have an actual regen effect for you to siphon it for yourself, but it can still be a very potent source of regen for you if they do.

It's also worth pointing out that Scorpion's sig ability got some kind of bug fix or other alteration, that I think makes it slightly more useful (or at least makes it worth investing sig stones into). I haven't actually seen the change myself since I only saw it briefly mentioned in (I think) Simula's video, but it's something to keep in mind.

But to answer OP's question, I think Abs Man benefits from his awakening more than Scorpion does. After all, Abs' sig ability affects his actual damage output to a pretty large extent, whereas Scorpion's is mostly defensive. Great defensive utility, but if you don't get hit you won't notice it.

I bet there will be an AG for one of the 6 champs in the realm event milestones like last year, so that is your scorpion awakened.

if you’re going to spend enough to get six keys, you’ll probably get at least one AG along the way.

I'm willing to bet that there will be at least one 7* awakening gem and 3-4 gem for the 6 champs in the box, but, maybe, they'll expand that to include Abs and King pin.
