X-23 feelings???

It looks like she does a decent amount of damage now. Definitely better than before.
One thing I would have loved to see improved is the health regeneration.
Wish she could have been elevated to God tier.

Trash tier. Waste of the mutant slot. 0 reason to rank her up. Even if she scales better as a seven star, there is nothing she does that any meta mutant doesn't already do.

It is an impressively underwhelming buff considering the players voted for her to be buffed. They wasted all that time voting for almost nothing. She is better, but is she more worth using now? I'd argue she is not. Now I'm kinda glad Rogue didn't win. There's still hope for her.

She's meh, I wouldn't say trash but it feels like another Cyclops level rework. What bothers me is that the passive stun with the light spam looks so much fun but then the damage and the survivability just aren't quite there. She's already not the fastest because it takes a while to ramp, and she takes so much chip damage because she doesn't have any bleed resistance or anything like that the only thing she seems good for is maybe countering Punisher but that's it.

I wish they'd stop introducing new fun mechanics and then just ruining everything because they have meh damage and not enough utility.

The next champ with the turbolight mechanic will probably be better. She’s a disappointment and will certainly be an L coming out of the banquet box.

I really don’t care for Cyclops but I at least appreciate that there are situations where he can be very useful. I’m not sure what her purpose is going to be.

i like her buff as now ruptures better bleed no rng from crits however i dont like how regen works of idling after a special as u just get hit if standing, so i wish it was after a special if not hit u get the regen, but no do want her 7 but from box i can wait a year if i dont get her as shes just for fun champ

Why are people bringing down cyclops, his buff was great. He has damage and utility of professorX but with an easier playstyle.

X-23 buff is a little underwhelming, why you degraded her regen which was basis of her earlier kit and her defining ability(if you are going this way than don't touch Ghost rider). A buff means you cannot make her less desirable in any abilities than what she previously was, what was done with X-23 was more of rebalance.

I hope our presumption about her comes out wrong like some other buffed champions and her buffed damage overpowers her nerfed regen.

Not holding my breath, but I'm sure I'll get the opportunity to give her a chance. I will say this, I was immediately excited about Yondu's buff after trying him at 6r3, but I feel no excitement for hers. Yondu didn't need a 7* to feel like a good buff.

I honestly don’t think this is a fair comparison lol I don’t recall seeing that many negative comments about Yondu’s buff, people just didn’t talk about it as much but there wasn’t a ton of negative feedback and reactions like in this case. Rhino definitely got trashed heavily for being a noodle and well, he’s still a noodle on attack it’s just that he has really good defensive value but on attack the reactions and feedback were on point.

Because the only thing he’s good at is countering Bullseye in BGs, and for me personally I couldn’t care less about other content my roster is too big for questing or war to be that big of deal. Even long form content where he shines is light work and I’d rather use other champs. What makes it even sadder is he’s supposed to counter thorns and even that he can’t do well because the adrenaline decays.

Mid as it gets for BGs and I don’t care what people say lol I know what my personal experience has been in Mysterium with him so you won’t change my mind on that trust 💀

Your reasoning is correct, at the end of day a player can only use a limited number of champions even if they are good and if someone's roster is big enough than there is no reason to use a champion who is not even top10 in there class . I agree he is not for bgs or aw but he is solid for story, necropolis and EOP like content.

The only other thing I'll say about x-23 is that she's fun to play however I cant think of many instances where I would actually want to play her without going out of my way use her specfically like I do with Sentry.

How many mutants are there with bleed and poison resistance that also have passive stun access and an evade counter again?

Her biggest most glaring problem is pushing opponent to SP3 during frenzy. It's frustrating and confusing because they clearly thought about X23's power gain, but just decided to do nothing about the opponents. Even if they didn't want to reduce it as much as X23's, they could've done many things to help with this issue.

I think draining 1 bar of power when you activate frenzy would've been a nice solution. Since you always need to do a LLLL combo to start frenzy, that already gives them minimum 50%+ of a bar of power when you start it. With this change, it would at least be possible to START frenzy with the opponent at 0 power, which it currently isn't.

That, or something like "while frenzy is active, opponent becomes power locked when reaching 2.99 bars of power. This lingers for 1-2 seconds after frenzy ends" (so you can finish your combo).

Neither of these are OP or game breaking in any way, I don't know why they decided to do nothing like this. I mean it's not even utility or anything, purely QOL. There's no other champion in the game where you have to be 100% certain your cash out moment will kill them or you're screwed. Imagine if Galan gave the opponent 3 bars of power when harvest finished.

It just makes me sad honestly how close she was to being perfect, but knowing the balancing program won't be reviewing her and she will forever be 1 tiny QOL improvement from one of the greats.

Compared to glorious guardian event (sentinel, purgatory, etc,. ) , I think any of this current pool is great or offers something new to the game, zero excitement about these champs (X23, nimroid, etc,.).
