Mike just responded in another thread - short version: the game team was made aware of the concerns and alternatives posted here…. And didn’t care.

Which we knew - they didn’t care about what was right, only what was expedient for them. And now they hope people won’t exploit bugs going forward….

why did I get paragon crystals? I don’t know when I opened my 4 7*s but this is either another mistake or an insult. Im quite casual how I play and spend but if you think these are worth anything to a 25k prestige player this games in trouble they’re worth less than losing in AW. Ridiculous.

The compensation should have been to send 1:1 fixed crystals to those who opened the broken crystals and 1:1 broken crystals to those who opened the fixed crystals. That way, everyone who had been hoarding crystals for this opening would have ended up with the same odds of opening up the new champions, without being penalised for opening their crystals after the fix.

I lost out on 22 7*s plus the resources that go with them due to finishing work a few minutes after the fix. Needless to say, I'm not happy.

I am so mad right now. I didn't open my crystals on purpose because they said it was bug meanwhile some of Ally players now double dipping. Getting back 40 crystals is just ridiculous. Why you guys not giving same opportunity to everyone? This is so unfair. I am so pissed right now that I don't have any motivation to play this game.

Props to Kabam Mike for relaying the community concerns to the game team, but the game team's decisionmaking is an absolute joke.

that's actually a really good suggestion.

So everyone would have gotten the exact same (or at least same odds) as everyone else, for all their crystals.

Another thought might have been that the Compensation crystals would NOT drop anything that was already present in the original (erroneous) crystals.

So the Comp crystals would only have had their small % chance for JUST any of the champs that were originally missing, while all the other “not incorrect” champs would have been NOT-INCLUDED in the Comp ones.

None of the other champs, but also NO shards, no ISO, no Sigs, no Gold, etc.

Just the chance at the missing champs.

And if you didn’t hit on the odds for one of the missing champs, you basically would end up getting NOTHING from the Comp crystal. (*OK, I think it technically would have to give you something, as a placeholder for the rest of the odds, but that could be just like 5 Gold is all).

The fact that there were tens of threads on the forums and no a single response from Kabam community managers is crazy. I think, with such conditions and all “attention” to the community questions these community managers should be just fired.

Not a single word, not a single explanation, nothing. Karatemike decided that lucky players will double up their fortune and everyone at Kabam is OK with that.

I am so happy this hypocrisy was shown before cyber weekend deals finished. I wanted to wait until I open my 35 crystals before buying a few odins, to better know if I need awakening gems or sig stones.

In the result I did not spend $200, instead I bought myself PS VR2. Thanks Kabam for great work with bugs and community complains and thank you for helping me making proper choice!

I am disappointed in you maybe the most since I started playing this game in 2016.

This compensation is very unfair and very broken, the window was too small and all those thta were working or asleep etc or just busy with family life, lose out and this makes a mockery of balance and fairness in the game. I like many had loads saved but was working and dealing with family so was unable to open. Once again the Rich seem to get richer, and all those that don't really need the stuff now gain 100s of extra sigs and shards to make BG's etc even more unbalanced. Really not sure how the game team came up with this comp package decision to basically punish all those that put so much time into the game and are now left with a feeling of being extremely hard done by with which in essence is an extremely ridiculous and overly generous comp package.

In addition to new champions I chased dupe for my Jack. I did not get this dupe within my saved 35 crystals.
I opened these crystals after they fixed problem, so I will not get any compensation.

The fact that another person who was "lucky" to be at right place at right time, who is also chasing some dupe for champion existed in the pool before, will get additional and the same amount of attempts to get such dupe just makes me very sad and depressed.

I was also saving, I was also working hard to get huge amount of crystals till this pool update. And I got nothing except dissappointment.

Screw you Kabam. Screw you.

I lost 10 Titan & 2 Titan nexus on 1st day itself just for more dupes (only new champ samurai). Even nexus with old champs

Once heard RNG improved (since duplication of old champs in Titan crystal is not reasonable & acceptable; particularly when new champs roaming in Titan crystal)

These wordings are totally false, after seeing only old champs in those 2 Titan nexus.

So pls return atleast half of resources that I spent on day1 (1 Titan nexus + 5 Titan crystal)

I'm having a bad day because of them. Because of their incompetence, I must fight with players who received that compensation. This is unfair, and I intend to show my frustration during stream. They made a mistake, and because of it, others are getting dozens of crystals. Am I supposed to compare with them in bg for example? Kabam is hopeless, and I am very angry for what they've done to this game. "Great job" balancing the game. Congratulations. Because of their manipulations, I will be forced to quit the game. Why did I spend the whole year collecting units for the banquet if they've ruined the game for me?
