Update 54.0.0 PC Performance issues

Have been playing fine on PC for a few weeks but since this update my fps has been horrific. I have an Ipad and Iphone from 2020 that run the game with at least 5 times the frames. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the steam version, I've tried doing the same and pressing the repair option for the version available on the website but still can't resolve this issue. I've checked and I'm not logged in on multiple devices at the same time.
