How important is Lizard’s sig ability?

So I finally managed to pull him.

Thinking about now hording titans again until the next rollover - but the question is how important is his sig? Have to decide it I want to try for a natural dup.

Well, I have him awakened and I can’t even tell you what the sig does. So that says something.

Not trying to rain on the reptilian parade, but I would recommend playing with him quite a bit before ranking him. I took mine straight to r3 and I don’t regret it, but he’s definitely an acquired taste (for me, at least). Not sure how much I’ll play him over the long haul.

I don’t think it’s needed. Just nice to have but it won’t make a huge impact if you don’t have him duped.

The sig ability gives him some additional block proficiency, makes his Retributions stronger so they increase the damage taken by the opponent when throwing Special Attacks more, and inflict a 100% Wither debuff when the opponent reaches 2 bars (nice little safety net)

Worth noting that the retribution also increases the damage his own bursts of damage do, since they're based on the amount of damage you've cumulatively dealt during opponents specials

the wither is my favorite part of the sig, basically means you don’t have to worry about MD for most fights. Retribution getting more potency is also awesome but at the end of the day I don’t think it’s making or breaking most fights
