Which to choose, 6* or 7*

This is regarding the new Pavitr Spiderman but will work in general.
If I pick a 7* champ, currently the best I can get him is to r2. Duplicating or awakening is a whole other problem, meaning very hard.
If I pick a 6*, I can max his rank, sig ability and also Ascend him.

So, thoughts?

It’ll be different for everyone and their own roster. For me I’d rather spend the resources on a 7* that I’ll be able to dupe and rank in the future rather than a 6* with a relatively short shelf life.

The only exception I’ll make now is where I have rank up gems rather than using catalysts and only where a champ is going to make a huge difference to content where I don’t have 7* that will do the job.

There was a point where I ended up ranking and ascending a few 6* skill champs because my skill 7* roster was so out of kilter compared to the others.

I believe that you have other better champs, and investing it for future content will be better, 7* are going to be stronger and with the ascension materials. You can also get an awakening gem or shards from events and banquets. It will be a waste to invest on 6 stars right now and that to a champion that will be difficult to obtain in the next 3 months. Pavitr will be added to the 6* pool sooner than the 7*.
