How Relevant is Omega Sentinel these day?

So back in the day of 6* I really love OS, ranked her (they, it) up to R5A.

However I was just wondering how relevant is OS now, in the modern world of Mutant def and new Tech champs, like Ironheart, Jack, Bastion, Prowler, Viv Vision

For someone with limited ranking resources, should I invest in OS or those mentioned above?

He's not that bad but also he's not worth investing before the champs that you mentioned. If you want to rank up OS just for fun then go ahead but for the utility go with other techs. I would say rank up OS when you have some extra resources.

I ranked her up for the poison path in Map 6 AQ. She is/was also useful for path 5 (iinm) in AW where you can't remove prowess.

But yeah, if you have Ironheart, Jack, Bastion, Prowler etc.; rank them up before 7* OS

only rank up non meta champs when you really like them

In BGs she won't work but War she can find her places and other forms of questing, also since Nimrod is coming out as a 7* you could use both for places Nimrod has to face shock immune champions

Many thanks to everyone insight. So essentially the TLDR is OS great, but not meta relevant right now. I did guess this but was hoping someone might corrected me.

She's still great yep - mine is 7r4. Metas will change and her utility vs defenders like Sinister and even Jean Grey (if you can handle revrese controls) is great. Her energy resistance with high sg helps vs neuroshocks also.
