Victory track battleground

I understand it's ranked matches but the way the matchmaking works just feels so unfair. I'm a f2p player currently in vibranium 2 trying to get to vibranium 1 so I can get the star lord piece and some radiance in gladiators circuit. My top 30 prestige is 17277 and I don't care how good you are at the game when u come up against someone with a top 30 prestige of 33660 it is not possible to win the match. It's not like I'm doing gladiators circuit where I'm getting end of the season rank based rewards. So I'd like you to explain to me how this matchmaking works because this isn't a 1 off match this is almost every 3rd ranked game I'm coming up against this how am I meant to win a match with r5 6*s and r2 7*s against a full deck or r4 7* s. Ss for reference cause this doesnt make any sense to have in victory track.

Matchmaking is based off of the tier you're in and nothing more. With a smaller account it sucks, but at the end of the day you're playing for the same rewards. If you're already in V2, then you will make it to the circuit. Just might have to wait for more of those bigger accounts to move up as well as some more accounts your size to catch up to you.

You match against anyone in your current tier. It’s not based on account strength or deck strength. So you’re matching against anyone in vib2.

You're in Vib II, they're in Vib II. That's it. Those bigger accounts will filter their way up into GC in due course and you'll be able to win matches again.

BGs seasons with unique rewards like Deathless & Stellar pieces are always more competitive because many more accounts play in it solely for that purpose. The solo milestones with titan shards & crystal in the higher milestones just increases that.

Play the matches, even if you think you're outranked - they may get a bad draft, they may screw up, you just might be better than they are - anything can happen! If nothing else, just completing the match gets you points for the solo milestones.

Agree on always playing the match. There are lots of accounts in BGs with a bunch of r4s who don’t know what they’re doing. And if they do know what they’re doing, it’s a chance to learn.

Keep your head up, there's still 22 days left. I came back last year after a lonnng hiatus, and I rmbr going straight into BG's and struggling to make it to GC. And that's when everyone was saying BG's were dead. Right now a ton of people are actually doing BG's and trying to get the radiance as well. They'll pass eventually, and in a couple days you should see more accounts closer to your own.

Dont forget the points farmers are busy this month too. Once theyre done VT will get easier as well

I'd argue that their presence makes it EASIER to win in VT because, by their nature, farmers are deliberately throwing matches in order to not promote into GC.

No idea why, but all the points farmers I face that throw are equivalent accounts to mine. It's more likely to take cheap wins for objectives by whomping the little guys and throw to bigger accounts to promote them.
