Urgent – Unauthorized Access Attempt on My Account

Hello Kabam Support Team,

I am contacting you because someone is trying to clone/hack my account. Recently, there were unauthorized attempts to change both my email address and password, which I did not request or authorize.

I am very concerned about the security of my account and would like your help to secure it as soon as possible. Please let me know what information you need from me to verify my identity and recover/protect my account.

The Kabam support team is not here. You need to submit a ticket directly to them, through the support website or the green support button in the game settings menu.

As for your account being cloned/hacked, well that doesn't happen. Nobody is out there hacking accounts, and I imagine you don't have an account worth hacking over many other accounts. The only way anybody is doing anything to your account is if you gave away your login information. Could be that you let someone else play on your account, or could be that you paid someone else to play on your account. There's also the possibility that you bought your account, or maybe even sold your account, and the other party is trying to make changes. But nobody looked at you and randomly decided to "hack" you specifically.

You can change your password through support if you can pass the identification gauntlet.

OP you need to tag a Kabam team member, and if we are all lucky, Santa Crashed will show up and share a run down of the random and inconsistent login to your account. As a present we all get a laugh, and you get a ban for Merc'ing.

Do not panic, if someone is trying to log in to your email and change the password, just place a really strong password on that email first, then add recovery info there that only you have access to and that should solve the problem. You can also change the kabam password if you click on forgot your password when trying to log in here, or the store or somewhere where you need to login with the kabam info.

My understanding is that their email info has been compromised and this should not have something to do with their kabam account neccesarily, I have several emails and I have had notifications before that somewhere around the globe had an unsuccesful attempt to log in, i was scared the first time, now i just ignore it but have really strong passwords on them. And an authenticator app for my mails.

If they really bought an account or paid mercenaries they will get banned eventually. Trying to help in case they are innocent of that.
